Step 1. Open the RUN command box and then type in regedit. This will open the Registry file. You need to locate to the:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CURRENTVERSION\SCHEDULE\MAINTENANCE

Step 2. Right click on the Maintenance folder and then select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value. Name the key Maintenance Disabled.

Step 3. Now double click on the key that you have just created and then set the value from 0 to 1. Click on ‘Ok’ and then restart your computer.
