Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a big trend in the technology
industry. Be it Apple, Google or Microsoft, AI has slowly crept into various
products/services of almost every big tech company.
Google, for
instance, has already started implementing this technology into its
smartphones’ software, camera and apps to enhance the overall functionality of
the device.
Recently,
the company announced a new feature for its email client Gmail called ‘Smart
Compose’ that enhances the typing experience of the users by predicting the
word or even the entire sentence.
Gmail’s web
version already has this feature and now the company has started rolling out
the update for the Android version of the app.

to activate and use the feature,
Here’s step by step guide for you Pre-requisites: -
Working Google account
The latest
version of Gmail app must be installed on your smartphone
Steps to follow: After the update, opening the Gmail app
will automatically show the pop-up of the new Smart Compose feature while
composing a new mail.
So, to
activate this feature, users need to open the Gmail app on their smartphone and
hit the ‘+’icon from the bottom right corner of the screen. The app will
now show the Smart Compose pop-up, dismiss it and start typing.
Alternatively, users can also activate or
deactivate this feature by going into the settings option of the Gmail app.
1-:Open
Gmail app and tap on the three horizontal bars from the top left corner.
2-: Head to
the ‘Settings’ option and select the email account.
3-:Under
General settings, look for the option ‘Smart Compose.
4-:Hit the
toggle in front of the option to turn it off or on.
